Agatha Christie: An Autobiography by Agatha Christie (Harper Collins, 2011).
This autobiography was originally published in 1977 but was re-issued this year by her grandson, accompanied by a disc containing recordings of her dictation tapes. The text itself was completed in 1965. Despite never having read any of the famous mystery author’s works, I found it very interesting. I would never have imagined that Agatha Christie met her second husband in Iraq, back when they hosted tourists and archeologists, not American soldiers. Now that I know what an excellent writer she was, I will definitely have to read some of her other books.
